Dear cardiac diffusion SIG,

Thank you everyone for making time to join our recent annual meeting, and thank you Ariel Hannum and Jürgen Schneider for the great presentation/slides.

For those who were not able to attend, we would like to share the following highlights:

- We are pleased to welcome Dr Maryam Afzali (University of Leeds) as our new SIG Vice-Chair. Dr Afzali will serve a three-year total term on the SIG executive as Vice-Chair, Chair, then Past-Chair.

- A JCMR cardiac diffusion consensus statement is now available: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jocmr.2024.101109 We should now make an effort to put the recommendations into practice.

- Substantial progress has been made on the multi-centre cardiac DTI study over the past few months. Participating sites are encouraged to work on completing any outstanding tasks and to get in touch with any questions.

- We encourage all members to email us with any cardiac diffusion-related publication so we can circulate it in upcoming newsletters.

The meeting slides, notes, and group photos are available here:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1if1Cbh_3PKcKSLkVzDe3OvI_6YLUGWcd?usp=sharing

We thank you for your support and look forward to working with you to grow our field of cardiac diffusion MRI. If you wish to volunteer/contribute, please do get in touch with us.

Best wishes,

SIG Executive
Pedro Ferreira, Maryam Afzali, Kevin Moulin, and Irvin Teh
